Overview
This policy explains what information Two Step Laundry Rentals collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We are a small company renting washers and dryers to apartment residents. We collect what we need to deliver and service your machines and to bill you. We do not sell your information.
Information We Collect
When you sign up: your name, email address, phone number, apartment community, street address, unit number, zip code, and roughly when your lease ends.
When you pay: your billing and delivery address. Your payment details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number or bank account number.
When we deliver and service: notes about your unit that help us do the work — your dryer outlet type, floor, whether there is an elevator, gate codes, parking instructions, and the serial numbers of the machines we install.
When you use our website: your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site. This comes from standard analytics tools described below.
When you contact us: the contents of your texts, emails, and calls.
How We Use Your Information
We use it to:
- Schedule and complete your delivery and installation
- Bill you and process payments
- Service and repair your machines
- Contact you about your rental
- Keep records of which machines are in which units
- Understand how people find us and improve how we operate
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment details directly under its own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, the last four digits of your payment method, and your billing address.
Text Messages and Communications
If you consent to text messages, we will text you about delivery scheduling, service appointments, and your rental. We do not send marketing texts to residents who have not opted in.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text message consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Opting out of texts does not cancel your rental — we will contact you by email or phone instead.
Who We Share Information With
We share information only with companies that help us run the business:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing
- HubSpot — customer records and communications
- Asset Panda — tracking which machine is in which unit
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — website analytics
We may share limited information with an apartment community when it is necessary to coordinate access for delivery or service — for example, confirming a scheduled visit with the leasing office.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our property or rights.
Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tools from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity may record how you interact with pages. Form fields are masked so the information you type is not captured.
You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Data Retention
We keep your customer records for as long as you rent from us and for a period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations — generally seven years.
Website analytics data is retained for fourteen months.
Your Choices and Requests
You can ask us to correct information we hold about you, tell us what we have, or request that we delete it. Some information we are required to keep — for example, billing records for tax purposes.

Security
We use reputable service providers and limit access to customer information to people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is completely safe.

Children's Privacy
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be communicated by email.
